I am in desperate need of help this year. I just want someone out there to be a Santa for my kids. I have no income and have been looking for work sometime now but have had no luck. I would love to see the smiles on my kids faces Christmas morning when they have something to open up. I have told them there won't be Christmas for them this year unless we get some help. I have gone to several local charities in my area and none of them will help me.

New here. I'm trying to find assistance to start my own trucking company. I'm currently a company driver not really earning enough to pay my bills. Close to leasing a truck and starting my own business. But that means 3 to 4 years of continuing to just barely eek out a living until my equipment is paid for. At my age not an especially attractive proposition.
I heard about the "federal money retriever" program on the CB. A driver claimed to have gotten a grant to pay for his truck free and clear. I could probably qualify for a loan, sure I can qualify for a lease, but I'm barely keeping up with personal debt as it is. Starting a business loaded with debt right from the start is not the way I'd prefer to go if other options are available.
Today was my first attempt to use the "retriever" program. Still confused by it. If anyone has any advice or guidance it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
